ICADenials::get_Item

This topic applies to Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional only.

The get_Item method retrieves a denial from the collection.

Syntax

HRESULT get_Item(
  VARIANT  Index,
  ICADenial**  ppDenial
);

Parameters

  Index

[in]  VARIANT that specifies the denial to retrieve. See Remarks for more information.

  ppDenial

[out]  Pointer to a variable that receives an ICADenial interface pointer.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value. Possible values include the following.

Remarks

The Index parameter supports the following VARIANT types:

• VT_I4: A zero-based index into the collection. The valid range is from 0 to ICADenials::get_Count() - 1.
• VT_UNKNOWN or VT_DISPATCH: Pointer to the IUnknown or IDispatch interface of the denial.

If the method returns S_OK, the ICADenial interface has an outstanding reference count. The caller must release the interface.
