A component type object is accessed through the Component object that represents a particular MPEG-2 elementary stream. The component type categories are �not set�, �other�, �Video�, �Audio�, �Text�, and �Data.� (See ComponentCategory.) Types are further described in terms of their DirectShow media type (see AM_MEDIA_TYPE).
